TUBAS, June 28, 2026 (WAFA) – The family of Palestinian young man Majdi Nour Abu Arra was informed on Sunday that their son had been killed, a year and a half after an Israeli drone strike targeted the vehicle he was traveling in north of Tubas, in the occupied West Bank.
The father of the slain told WAFA that the HaMoked Center for the Defence of the Individual notified the family that Israel's Supreme Court had confirmed their son's death, ending 18 months during which Israeli authorities withheld information about his fate.
Majdi Abu Arra was killed when an Israeli drone bombed a vehicle he was travelling in on December 3, 2024, alongside two Palestinians, Mohammad Samih Ghannam and Karam Hatem Abu Arra, whose deaths were announced at the time.
Another passenger, Ayman Najeh Ghannam, who was wounded in the strike, was later abducted by Israeli undercover forces from a hospital in Nablus. Meanwhile, Majdi Abu Arra's fate remained unknown until his family received official notification of his death on Sunday.
