JENIN, June 24, 2026 (WAFA) – A young man Wednesday evening succumbed to wounds sustained after Israeli undercover special forces opened fire at him following the siege of a house in the town of al-Yamoun, west of Jenin.

The Ministry of Health announced the killing of Mohammad Nazem Ezzat Zayed, 29, who was shot by Israeli occupation forces in the town. His body is being withheld by the occupation authorities.

Earlier, WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli undercover forces infiltrated al-Yamoun and surrounded a house before opening fire at a young man inside, injuring him and preventing ambulance crews from reaching him.
