Israeli forces continue ceasefire violations across Gaza, conduct limited ground incursion

GAZA, June 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces continued their violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, carrying out a limited ground incursion, firing live ammunition and artillery shells in several areas, demolishing homes and residential buildings, and targeting tents of displaced persons and shelters.

The occupation forces detonated a booby-trapped robot east of Gaza City, coinciding with the demolition of several homes in the eastern areas. Israeli artillery also shelled the area, and naval vessels opened machine-gun fire toward the city's coastline.

Occupation tanks also opened fire south of Khan Younis, while military vehicles conducted a limited incursion at dawn into the Atatra area in the northwest of the Gaza Strip. This incursion was accompanied by gunfire, bulldozing operations, and a siege of tents housing displaced persons in the area.

Sine ceasefire began on October 11, 2025, a total of 1,027 people have been killed, 3,280 injured, and 785 bodies recovered.
