Four Palestinians injured in colonist attack south of Hebron; dozens of trees uprooted

HEBRON, June 23, 2026 (WAFA) – Four Palestinians sustained injuries, bruises, and pepper spray inhalation on Wednesday after Israeli colonists attacked homes and farmland in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank. Colonists also uprooted and damaged around 60 trees.

Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhameh told WAFA that heavily armed colonists attacked Palestinian homes and lands in the Wadi al-Rakhim and Khallat al-Homs areas south of Yatta, injuring four Palestinians.

Four Palestinians were injured after being sprayed with pepper spray and were transferred to Yatta Government Hospital for treatment.

He added that colonists uprooted 40 olive trees and 20 forest trees belonging to Jibril Rumi, and blocked the road connecting Khallat al-Homs and Wadi al-Rakhim.
