RAMALLAH, June 22, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday evening stormed several towns and villages in the Ramallah, Jerusalem, and Qalqilya governorates, with no detentions reported.
In Qalqilya governorate, the occupation forces stormed the village of Kafr Laqif, east of the city, hours after raiding the neighboring town of Azzoun.
Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed Kafr Laqif through its eastern entrance and deployed in several streets of the village, with no detentions or home raids reported.
Earlier tonight, the occupation forces stormed the town of Azzoun through its main northern entrance and deployed in the Al-Safha area and the northern neighborhood before withdrawing about an hour later.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed the town of Kobar, north of Ramallah, and deployed in several of its streets while firing tear gas canisters. No injuries or detentions were reported during the raid.
In a related development, the occupation forces stormed the towns of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, and Hizma, northeast of the governorate, deploying in several streets and neighborhoods without carrying out any detentions or home raids.
Towns and villages across the Qalqilya and Jerusalem governorates have been subjected to repeated incursions by Israeli occupation forces, often accompanied by home raids, searches, road closures, and restrictions on residents' movement.
