GAZA, June 22, 2026 (WAFA) – A citizen on Monday succumbed to wounds sustained in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
This comes amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in thousands of casualties and extensive destruction of infrastructure and property.
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that the toll of those killed and injured in the Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,035 and 173,368, respectively.
