Israeli authorities issue demolition orders for nine inhabited homes in Hebron

HEBRON, June 18, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Issued demolition notices for nine inhabited homes in the town of Ash-Shuyukh, northeast of Hebron.

Hassan Halaika, the mayor of Ash-Shuyukh, told WAFA that Israeli authorities issued demolition orders for nine homes in the Qanan Nias area of ​​the town.

The houses salted for demolition belonged to Abdul-Razzaq Abu Eid, Muhammad Ayaydeh, Arwa Ayaydeh, Izz Al-Din Ayaydeh, Abdullah Abu Eid, Hassan Muhammad Abu Eid, Elias Jabarin, Ali Suleiman Ayaydeh, and Ayed Ayaydeh.

He added that  Israeli authorities had previously notified the homeowners a month ago to halt construction, claiming they lacked permits. Despite the homeowners having submitted all the necessary legal documents and paperwork to obtain the required permits, they were surprised to receive demolition notices today.
