RAMALLAH, June 15, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department has forecast generally clear weather for Monday, with moderate conditions in mountainous areas and relatively hot weather in the rest of the country, as temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged.
During the evening and nighttime hours, conditions will be partly cloudy and relatively cool in mountainous areas, while remaining mild elsewhere. Winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, and sea waves will be low.
The department indicated that temperatures are expected to rise on Tuesday, bringing relatively hot conditions to mountainous regions and hot weather across the rest of the country. A further increase is forecast for Wednesday, when conditions will become hot in mountainous areas and very hot elsewhere.
Temperatures are expected to decline on Thursday, although weather conditions will remain relatively hot in mountainous areas and hot in the rest of the country.
The Meteorological Department warned citizens against prolonged direct exposure to sunlight, particularly during peak hours between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. It also urged the public to avoid lighting fires in areas with abundant dry vegetation.
