RAMALLAH, June 14, 2026 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Sunday strongly condemned the attacks carried out by groups of colonists on the towns of Deir Dibwan and Burqa, east of Ramallah, including acts of arson targeting vehicles and land, as well as an attempt to burn a mosque.
In a statement, the ministry said the attacks are part of a systematic Israeli policy that employs organized and daily terrorism against the Palestinian people, aimed at forcibly displacing them from their land and undermining their resilience.
It stressed that the continued impunity enjoyed by colonists encourages further crimes and violations against Palestinian citizens and their property, and called for increased pressure on the Israeli government through available legal, economic, and political tools.
The ministry called on the international community, the United Nations, the Security Council, and all states to take immediate and concrete measures to halt colonists’ attacks and ensure accountability for perpetrators, and to treat these assaults as a form of organized terrorism.
It also renewed its call for international protection for the Palestinian people and for the imposition of deterrent sanctions on the occupation and its colonists, in line with the legal and moral responsibilities of the international community.
