HEBRON, June 14, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday detained two Palestinian citizens from the town of Al-Dhahiriya and seized several water tankers in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli occupation forces raided Al-Dhahiriya, firing live ammunition as well as tear gas and stun grenades. The soldiers detained Thaer Ahmad Al-Hawarin and Ashraf Ibrahim Al-Hawarin after searching their homes and conducting on-site interrogations of them and their family members.

In a related development, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Idhna and seized five water tankers belonging to the Abu Jheisheh and Farajallah families. The tankers were reportedly transferred to the settlement of Adora.

The occupation forces also erected several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron and its surrounding towns, villages, and refugee camps, while closing a number of main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
