NABLUS, June 9, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists set fire to a Palestinian-owned vehicle in the village of Beit Imrin, northwest of Nablus, early Tuesday, while Israeli forces detained four Palestinians during a raid on the city of Nablus.
Security sources told WAFA that colonists broke into Beit Imrin and torched a Volkswagen Passat belonging to local resident Bilal Abdeh before residents managed to extinguish the fire.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided the Old City of Nablus and several surrounding neighborhoods, searched a number of homes, and detained four Palestinians.
The detainees were identified as Abi Obeid and Anan Al-Kakhn from the Old City, Ahmad Yamin from Street 10, and Ayman Bazian from Al-Sikka Street.
The same sources said Israeli forces continued their raid in the eastern part of Nablus and remained deployed in the vicinity of the Old Askar refugee camp.
