HEBRON, June 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa on Saturday called the father of infant Sam Abu Haikal, who was killed by Israeli forces on Friday, to offer his condolences and convey the sympathies of President Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian leadership, and the government to the family.
During the call, Mustafa expressed his deepest condolences over the loss and extended his support to the family during their grief.
The Prime Minister said that such acts would not undermine the determination of the Palestinian people to continue their pursuit of freedom and independence and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
He also praised the steadfastness of the Abu Haikal family in the Tel Rumeida area of Hebron in the face of settlement expansion and occupation policies.
