NABLUS, June 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Nine Palestinians were injured on Saturday during an attack carried out by Israeli colonists on the town of Huwara, south of Nablus.
WAFA correspondent reported that among the injured was a member of the Huwara municipality, who was wounded in the foot by live ammunition shrapnel, while four others were injured after being physically assaulted during the attack.
He added that colonists surrounded a Palestinian man inside a sheep barn, and that intense confrontations erupted in the area, involving gunfire. The attack also involved damage to several vehicles, with colonists smashing car windows, stealing a vehicle and a bicycle, and seizing approximately 35 sheep.
Rana Abu Haniyeh, the public relations officer for the Huwara municipality, stated that dozens of colonists attacked the municipal building and several homes in the town, directly assaulting them.
