GAZA, June 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Ten civilians, including one in critical condition, were injured on Tuesday evening in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.
The attack came as Israeli artillery shelled areas north of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, while Israeli forces continued large-scale blasting operations east of Khan Yunis in the southern Strip.
The death toll in the Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,942. Since October 11, 2025, a total of 933 people have been killed.
