GAZA, June 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah reported on Tuesday that one Palestinian was killed and four others were injured after an Israeli strike targeted a civilian vehicle east of the city in central Gaza.

The hospital said the victim was 32-year-old Ahmad Khaled Abu Maghseib, who was killed when the vehicle was struck on Salah al-Din Street near Al-Mazra’a School east of Deir al-Balah.

It added that four people were injured, including some in serious condition, and were admitted to emergency departments amid continued pressure on medical teams and shortages of resources.

Medical sources in Gaza also confirmed the updated cumulative toll of the Israeli offensive since October 7, 2023, now standing at 72,942 killed and 172,967 injured.
