GAZA, June 1, 2026 (WAFA) – A child was injured on Monday evening after an Israeli drone opened fire on civilians southeast of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli drone fire targeted civilians in the area southeast of the camp, injuring a child.

Meanwhile, Israeli naval vessels fired several shells toward the Gaza City shoreline. No injuries were reported.

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip said the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,941, with 172,967 others injured.

The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip continues amid ongoing aerial, ground, and naval attacks that have resulted in tens of thousands of Palestinians killed and injured, in addition to widespread destruction of homes, infrastructure, and vital service facilities.
