GAZA, May 26, 2026 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians, including a woman, were killed and several others injured on Tuesday evening after Israeli warplanes bombed a residential building west of Gaza City.
WAFA correspondents reported that Israeli aircraft fired several missiles at a residential building near Al-Kanz Mosque in the Rimal neighborhood, killing three civilians and injuring six others.
They added that the strike took place in a densely populated area ahead of Eid al-Adha, while Israeli forces also shelled the vicinity of al-Thawra Street west of Gaza City.
Medical sources had announced earlier on Tuesday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 had risen to 72,803, with 172,855 injured.
The sources added that since the start of the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of fatalities reached 906, while injuries rose to 2,747, in addition to the recovery of 781 bodies from different areas across the Gaza Strip.
They noted that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble and on roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face difficulties reaching them due to ongoing bombardment and severe field conditions in Gaza Strip.
