BETHLEHEM, May 21, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Thursday closed the main entrance to the town of Za’tara, east of Bethlehem.
Local sources told WAFA that the forces shut down with cement cubes the main entrance to the town, which leads to the nearby town of Beit Sahour and the Bethlehem city center.
The entrance has reportedly been closed with an iron gate since October 2023, although it has occasionally been reopened intermittently.
