RAMALLAH, May 21, 2026 (WAFA) – The European Union stated that the assault on activists from the "Global Freedom Flotilla" shown in a video published by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, is “completely unacceptable.”
The EU stressed the need to treat all detainees with dignity and in accordance with international law, calling on the Israeli government to "guarantee the protection of the activists and their dignified treatment, including several EU citizens."
The EU demanded the immediate release of all detained flotilla activists.
