HEBRON, May 21, 2026 (WAFA) – Armed Israeli colonists stole on Thursday 45 sheep and assaulted a Palestinian man in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
Ibrahim Abu Ali told WAFA that a group of armed colonists infiltrated his sheep pen in the Hariba al-Nabi area of Masafer Yatta and stole 45 heads of livestock.
In a separate incident, colonists wearing Israeli military uniforms detained resident Muhammad al-Nawaj’ah near Wadi al-Jahish, physically assaulting him and damaging his private vehicle.
In the town of Bani Na’im, east of Hebron, Israeli forces raided the town, detained dozens of residents, searched and abused then, before later releasing them. No detentions were reported.
