BETHLEHEM, May 21, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces stormed on Thursday the town of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem.
The head of the Nahalin municipal council, Na'im Fanoun, told WAFA correspondent that Israeli troops entered the town and deployed in its center and several streets, where they raided multiple homes and commercial shops, damaging their contents.
Fanoun added that Israeli forces detained several residents and conducted field interrogation before releasing them.
In a related incident, occupation forces also stormed the towns of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem, and Beit Fajjar, to the south, though no house raids or arrests were reported.
