NORTHERN VALLEY, May 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities on Wednesday ordered halt on the construction of residential structures and livestock barns in the community of Ein al-Hilweh in the northern Jordan Valley, according to a colonial settlement watchdog.
Mutaz Besharat said that the occupying forces stormed the community and handed Fathi Daraghmeh a notice, ordering him to stop the construction of several residential structures and livestock barns and maintaining that the order would be valid until a hearing scheduled on June 10.
This morning, bulldozers accompanied by military vehicles entered the community to demolish the homes of Adel and Fathi Daraghmeh. According to the families’ lawyer, the Israeli military command ignored an official address he submitted regarding the demolition orders on April 20, 2026.
