TULKARM, May 19, 2026 (WAFA) – A young man was injured by Israeli army fire on Tuesday afternoon at the entrance to Tulkarm refugee camp.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces stationed inside the camp opened fire on the young man as he stood near the camp entrance, close to the Balawneh neighborhood. He was shot in the foot and taken to the hospital, where his condition was described as moderate.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its two refugee camps, Tulkarm and Nur Shams, for the 478th consecutive day. This aggression is characterized by a tight siege, the seizure of Palestinian homes, and their conversion into military barracks after the forced expulsion of residents.
