BETHLEHEM, May 18, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today issued demolition and stop-work orders for 15 homes, some of which are inhabited, in the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem.
Tuqu’ Mayor Saqr Suleiman told WAFA that occupation forces raided the al-Halqum neighborhood, west of the town, and issued demolition and stop-work orders for 15 homes.
The orders gave the residents one week to comply, despite having been previously notified.
Suleiman indicated that the homes belong to several residents.
