BETHLEHEM, May 17, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday issued stop-work orders for ten Palestinian-owned homes, including inhabited ones, in Battir town, west of Bethlehem, according to a local official.
The deputy mayor of Battir told WAFA that the occupation forces stormed the al-Sharafa area near the Battir–Husan junction and delivered stop-construction notices, which affected ten homes belonging to several Palestinian residents.
