HEBRON, May 17, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was seriously injured on Sunday after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in Beit Awwa, northwest of Hebron, according to medical and local sources.
Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stationed at the separation wall west of the town opened live fire toward Palestinian residents, critically injuring a young man.
The occupation forces have escalated the pursuit of Palestinian civilians and the use of live fire against them near the separation barrier in several areas across the occupied West Bank governorates.
