Death toll from Israeli offensive in Lebanon surges to 2,969, with 9,112 causalities

RAMALLAH, May 16, 2026 (WAFA) – The Health Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced on Saturday that the total cumulative death toll of the Israeli aggression from March 2 to May 16 has reached 2,969 people, with 9,112 wounded.
