GAZA, May 16, 2026 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians were killed and others wounded on Saturday evening when Israeli warplanes struck a vehicle near the Al-Wahda Tower west of Gaza City, in the central Gaza Strip.
The death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to72,757, with 172,645 wounded, since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.
Thousands of victims remain trapped under collapsed buildings or on the streets. However, emergency responders are struggling to reach them due to a lack of essential equipment for debris removal and rescue operations.
