RAMALLAH, May 16, 2026 (WAFA) – Head of the Ras Karkar Village Council, Marwan Nofal, was injured on Saturday after being assaulted by two colonists during an attack on the village, west of Ramallah.

Head of the Ras Karkar Village Council told WAFA that a group of colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, stormed the village entrance, where two colonists assaulted him with rifle butts, inflicting moderate facial injuries. He was later transferred for treatment.

The village of Ras Karkar has been subjected to repeated attacks by colonists targeting residents and their property, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
