BEIRUT, May 10, 2026 (WAFA) – A Lebanese civilian was killed and several others were injured over the last few hours in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting towns and villages in southern Lebanon.
According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, an Israeli strike targeted the town of Bedias in the Tyre district, killing one person and injuring 13 others, including six children and two women.
Southern Lebanon witnessed some of the heaviest attacks, with dozens of airstrikes reported across the districts of Tyre, Bint Jbeil, Nabatieh, and Marjayoun. The attacks included direct strikes on vehicles, motorcycles, and residential buildings, in addition to artillery shelling that targeted ambulance crews attempting to evacuate wounded individuals in the town of Safad al-Battikh.
Israeli forces also carried out house demolitions in Aitaroun and Bint Jbeil and fired illumination flares over villages in the western and central sectors, while drones continued intensive flights over the area.
