RAMALLAH, May 9, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked the village of Deir Jarrir in the central West Bank province of Ramallah on Saturday evening, while Israeli forces detained two Palestinians during an accompanying raid.

Palestinian security sources said colonists stormed the outskirts of the village, triggering confrontations with residents. No injuries were reported.

The sources added that Israeli forces later broke into the village to secure protection for the colonists and detained two Palestinians during the raid.
