BETHLEHEM, May 4, 2026 (WAFA) – A colonist attempted to run over a Palestinian woman in the village of Al-Maniya, southeast of Bethlehem, on Monday morning as she was crossing the village's main street.
Security sources told WAFA that the woman escaped unharmed, while the colonists fled the scene.
This incident comes amid escalating attacks by colonists and Israeli occupation forces in the area, targeting villages southeast of Bethlehem, particularly Kisan. These attacks have included raiding Palestinian homes and harassing shepherds.
In a separate incident, Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem, and deployed around the municipality building. No raids or detentions were reported.
