RAMALLAH, May 4, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the country will be affected by a relatively cold air mass, therefore, the weather today, Monday, will be partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold, especially in the mountainous areas, where a further noticeable drop in temperatures is expected. There is a chance of scattered rain in some areas. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, brisk with occasional strong gusts, and may raise dust. Sea waves will be high.

The country will continue to be affected by a relatively cold air mass. Therefore, tomorrow, Tuesday, the weather will remain partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold, especially in the mountainous regions. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged, with a chance of scattered showers in some areas. Winds will be active, blowing from the west to northwest, with occasional strong gusts that may raise dust. Sea waves will be high.
On Wednesday, the weather will be partly cloudy and pleasant in most areas, with a slight rise in temperatures, though they will remain below average. Winds will be moderate to active, blowing from the northwest to west. Sea waves will be high.
Thursday's weather will be partly cloudy to clear, mild in the mountainous regions, and relatively hot in the rest of the country. Temperatures will rise further, and winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the southwest to northwest. Sea waves will be low to moderate.
The PMD warns citizens of the risk of a sharp drop in temperatures, reduced horizontal visibility, the risk of slipping on roads in areas experiencing rainfall, and the risk of high wind speeds, which can reach 50-60 km/h in some gusts.
