HEBRON, May 3, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists on Sunday began paving a colonial road in the town of Beit Awwa, west of Hebron, according to local sources.
The sources said colonists used heavy machinery to carve out a road on land belonging to the families of al-Awawda and al-Suwaiti near an Israeli military tower at the entrance of the town.
Recently, colonists have seized hundreds of dunums of land west of the nearby town of Dura to open roads serving nearby settlements established in the area, the same sources added.
