TULKARM, May 3, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces carried out a large-scale raid on Sunday morning in the town of Deir al-Ghusun, north of Tulkaem, amid heavy deployment of military vehicles and infantry units across the town’s neighborhoods and streets.

Local sources said the forces launched a mass detention campaign targeting dozens of residents after storming and searching homes and damaging their contents, while firing stun grenades.

Israeli forces also seized a home in the town, forcing its residents out and converting it into a military post and field interrogation center.

In a related development, the Directorate of Education announced the suspension of school classes in the town for the day due to the ongoing situation, which was still continuing at the time of reporting.
