GAZA, May 3, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian was killed by Israeli gunfire east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip on Sunday, bringing the number of fatalities in the area since the morning to two.
Medical sources said the unidentified victim was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Younis.
Earlier in the day, 15-year-old Riyad Naji Abu Nimer was killed in an Israeli drone strike in the same area.
With the latest fatality, the number of Palestinians killed since the start of the ceasefire in Gaza on October 11, 2025, has risen to 831, while total injuries have exceeded 2,342. Additionally, 767 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
