GAZA, May 3, 2026 (WAFA) — A 15-year-old Palestinian boy was killed on Sunday morning after being targeted by an Israeli drone strike in the city of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said the victim, Riyad Naji Abu Nimer, was hit by shrapnel after a drone dropped a bomb on a group of civilians in the Qizan Abu Rashwan area, south of Khan Younis. He died of his injuries before reaching the hospital, while others were wounded in the attack.

With his killing, the number of Palestinians killed since the start of the ceasefire on October 11 of the last year has risen to 830, with more than 2,342 injured. In addition, 767 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
