BETHLEHEM, May 3, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces on Sunday detained two Palestinians, including a woman, from the Bethlehem governorate in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources.
The sources said troops detained a 31-year-old woman, Islam Abdel Majeed Ammarneh, from Dheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem, and Fayez Mohammad Rabay’a, 43, from the town of al-Ubeidiya east of the city, after raiding and searching their homes.
Rabay’a had recently been injured by Israeli gunfire while attempting to reach his workplace in occupied Jerusalem, the sources added.
Meantime, Israeli forces raided the towns of Beit Sahour, Za’tara, al-Khader, Tuqu’, Beit Fajjar, Harmala, and Abu Nujeim, with no further raids or detentions reported.
