RAMALLAH, May 2, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, attacked the village of Deir Jarir east of Ramallah on Saturday evening, while another group targeted the town of Sinjil to the northeast.
Palestinian security sources reported that colonists assaulted the outskirts of Deir Jarir and attempted to attack agricultural structures on residents’ land. Israeli forces stormed the village to provide protection to the colonists and fired tear gas canisters. No injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, colonists attacked civilians near the town of Sinjil, preventing residents from accessing their land, according to Palestinian security and local sources.
