HEBRON, May 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Four Palestinians, including an elderly woman, were injured on Saturday following an Israeli colonist attack in Jabal Jalis, east of Hebron.
Rashid Al-Zrou Al-Tamimi told WAFA that Palestinian Red Crescent teams transferred three injured individuals following a violent assault by colonists. The injured include brothers Dr. Rami Rashid Al-Zrou Al-Tamimi and his brother Ramzi, as well as an elderly woman, Um Hamed Al-Zrou Al-Tamimi, 71, who were taken to Hebron Government Hospital for treatment. Another woman, Abeer Al-Zrou Al-Tamimi, was treated on site.
Al-Tamimi added that colonists, guarded by heavily armed Israeli soldiers, attacked their homes in the area and attempted to enter their land, but the residents confronted them and prevented their entry.
Local residents have reportedly been facing repeated attacks carried out by colonists from the nearby illegal colony of Havat Gal.
