RAMALLAH, April 27, 2026 (WAFA) – Gold edged higher on Friday, recovering from earlier losses that exceeded 1%.
Spot gold rose to $4,627.63 per ounce by 17:50 GMT, after falling to a session low of $4,559.48 earlier in the day. Despite the rebound, the precious metal remains on track for a weekly loss of 1.7%.
U.S. gold futures for June delivery also increased by 0.4%, reaching $4,649.60 per ounce.
Among other precious metals, silver gained 3% in spot trading to $75.91 per ounce, while platinum rose 0.3% to $1,992.05. Palladium also advanced 0.6%, settling at $1,532.79 per ounce.
