RAMALLAH, April 29, 2026 (WAFA) – A paramedic was killed and a woman was injured on Wednesday as a result of Israeli shelling and gunfire in northern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
The sources reported that paramedic Ibrahim Saqr was killed in an Israeli airstrike near the Al-Tuwam junction, northwest of Gaza City.
Meantime, a woman was also injured by Israeli gunfire in the town of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
Over the past 24 hours, five Palestinians were killed in continued Israeli airstrikes across Gaza, while seven others were injured, in breach of the ceasefire agreement.
Since a ceasefire was announced in October last year, the number of Palestinians killed has reached 823, with around 2,310 others injured, according to medical sources.
