BETHLEHEM, April 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday night closed the main road serving the western rural area of Bethlehem, according to security sources.
Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces shut the iron gate on the main road connecting the towns of Battir and Nahalin and the villages of Husan and Wadi Fukin, leaving a large number of citizens stranded and unable to reach their homes.
The sources added that the occupation forces had earlier set up a checkpoint in the area, stopping citizens, checking identities, and searching vehicles.
