Gaza: Woman injured by Israeli forces gunfire

GAZA, April 28, 2026 (WAFA) – A woman was injured early Tuesday morning by Israeli occupation forces in the northern Gaza Strip, coinciding with artillery shelling and attacks targeting areas in the north and east of the Strip, including Beit Lahia and Jabalia refugee camp, as well as the eastern part of Khan Younis city in the south.

WAFA correspondents, citing medical sources, reported that a 49-year-old woman sustained serious injuries as a result of gunfire by the Israeli army in the Egyptian Camp area, near the 17th Street area in the northern Gaza Strip, during a direct attack on civilians in the area.

Meanwhile, areas east of Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip were subjected to heavy artillery shelling, accompanied by intense gunfire, while artillery shelling continued on the eastern areas of Khan Younis city.
