GAZA, April 27, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestine Red Crescent Society, in coordination with the World Health Organization, continued medical evacuation operations from the Gaza Strip, with 189 people evacuated on Monday via the Karm Abu Salem Crossing, including 81 patients and 108 companions.
The evacuations are part of ongoing humanitarian coordination with the WHO and international partners to facilitate the travel of patients and enable access to treatment centers outside Gaza.
The PRCS reaffirmed its commitment to its humanitarian and medical mission, continuing to mobilize its resources to support patients and alleviate suffering amid the difficult conditions in the enclave.
