BEIRUT, April 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Four Lebanese citizens were killed on Saturday in two Israeli airstrikes targeting the town of Yohmor al-Shaqif in southern Lebanon.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces also carried out air and artillery shelling on several towns, including Houla, Al-Qantara, Al-Qusayr, and Buyut al-Sayyad. Massive explosions were further reported in Bint Jbeil and Khiam.

The Israeli military also renewed warnings to residents of southern Lebanon against moving southward or approaching areas near the Litani River, Wadi al-Sulouqi, and Wadi al-Hujeir, and against returning to dozens of villages south of the Litani.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health had earlier announced that Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon the previous day killed six people and injured two others in the towns of Srifa, Yater, Touline, Khirbet Selm, and Wadi al-Hujeir.
