GAZA, April 25, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man, Alaa Ahmad, has been killed after succumbing to wounds sustained in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Beit Lahia Project area in northern Gaza, bringing the death toll since the morning to two.

Earlier today, child Duaa Muhammad Suleiman Rahim died from wounds sustained when she was shot by Israeli forces west of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The number of fatalities since the ceasefire on October 11 has surged to 810, with more than 2,220 injuries reported. 

Thousands of victims remain trapped under collapsed buildings or on the streets. However, emergency responders are struggling to reach them due to a lack of essential equipment for debris removal and rescue operations.
