Israeli army issues warnings to residents across southern Lebanon

RAMALLAH, April 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli army has renewed its warnings to residents of several villages and towns in southern Lebanon, calling on them not to move south of the designated village line and its surrounding areas until further notice.

According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, the warning covers several locations, including Mazraat Biyout al-Siyad, Majdel Zoun, Zibqin, Yater, Sarbin, Hadatha, Beit Yahoun, Shaqra, Majdal Salam, Qabrikha, Froun, Zawtar al-Gharbiya, Yohmor al-Shaqif, Arnoun, Deir Mimas, Marjayoun, al-Mari, Ibl al-Saqi, Kfar Shuba, Ain Qinia, and Ain Ata, as well as areas adjacent to the Litani River and the al-Salhani and al-Salouqi valleys.

The warning also included a ban on returning to or or passing through several other villages, including Naqoura, Tir Harfa, Jibbayn, Yarin, Maroun al-Ras, Bint Jbeil, Aita al-Shaab, Meiss al-Jabal, Kfarkila, al-Khiam, and al-Adaisseh, among others, further broadening the scope of restricted zones to encompass extensive residential and agricultural areas.

These warnings come amid escalating tensions in the southern border regions of Lebanon.
