NABLUS, April 21, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists attacked the town of Beita, south of Nablus, on Tuesday.
Omar Bani Shamsah, head of the Beita Municipality's steering committee, told WAFA that a group of colonists attacked the Bir Quza area, south of the town, and municipal crews who were working to repair water and electricity lines that the colonists had damaged the previous night.
He added that the colonists stole two vehicles belonging to the municipality's electricity and water department, assaulted the crews working in the field, and fired live ammunition at residents and homes. He noted that the Israeli army stormed the area after the colonists withdrew and is still detaining a resident there.
