RAMALLAH, April 21, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces tightened the military measures in areas north of Ramallah on Tuesday, closing several main roads.
Local sources reported that occupation forces closed the road connecting the town of Sinjil and the Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiya junction north of Ramallah, preventing vehicles from passing through.
The sources added that occupation forces deployed on the roads, forcing vehicles to take alternative routes through the town of Turmus Ayya. They also blocked the road connecting the Ayoun Al-Haramiya area and the Beit El checkpoint north of Al-Bireh.
The sources indicated that these measures forced Palestinians coming from the southern West Bank and heading north to enter Ramallah city.
